Travelodge is giving Britons the perfect excuse to book a cheap city break this year with a brand new sale.

The budget hotel chain has cut prices on 300,000 rooms from £ 29 a night in Bath, London and York.

Offers are valid for stays between May 17, 2021 (the earliest date hotels can reopen in England) through February 28, 2022, so there is ample opportunity to grab a bargain.

You can already book discounted rooms on the Travelodge website, although they are subject to availability.

In fact, one of the fastest and easiest ways to find the discounted stays is to use Travelodge’s price search engine – just search for one of the three destinations and change the price to the maximum. from £ 29.

The sale comes as Travelodge has seen a “surge of interest” from Britons in stays in destinations that have served as filming locations in Bridgerton, including Bath, London and York.

In fact, the brand has put together Bridgerton guides for each of the three cities in case you plan to research some of the spots on the show.

But of course, it’s not just the Bridgerton connections that make these city breaks tempting.

All three offer great dining, shopping and attractions, whether you are looking to explore the historic sites of Bath, from the Roman Baths to Bath Abbey or the Regency-style buildings in the Royal Crescent, or planning to get away from it all. Strolling through York’s quaint cobbled streets, with hot spots such as the Shambles is a must visit. (It’s also a great destination for chocolate fans).

Meanwhile, while London doesn’t have a reputation for being cheap, there are ways to stay on a budget, especially if you’ve bought a room for £ 29. For example, there’s a free self-guided walking tour that takes you past all of the biggest landmarks, including the London Eye, Buckingham Palace, and Tower Bridge.

If this is a West End show you are looking for, there are plenty of ways to find cheap tickets.
