Scholarships

ELTE Offers study programs to international students with a wide variety of funding options. Study abroad organizations make life easier for international students.

Within the AIFS Scholarships Abroad one can receive, for example, the FEA Recipient Grant which offers a $500 grant to students who receive a scholarship from the Fund for Education Abroad.

With The National Endowment for Research in the Humanities Program, up to $40,000 is awarded for one year of study. Applicants to the program must be pursuing a humanities research project in Hungary. University scholarships include Randall Smith/Mr. Richard Zinman Award for Study Abroad awarding students $1,000.

Scholarships

Although Semmelweis University does not offer scholarships in the English-language programs of General Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences, the Hungarian state offers Stipendium Hungaricum and Hungarian Diaspora scholarships for international students.

Scholarships

International students should not worry about high tuition fees as there are also funding opportunities for students.

The Stipendium Hungaricum offers BA/BSc, MA/MSc and Master level programs at single level and a contribution of 43,700 HUF/month (135 EUR) towards living expenses in Hungary for the 12 months of the year, until the end studies.

Also there are Fellowship Program for Young Christians and one Hungarian Diaspora Fellowship.
