Fireworks, up to 75% off, hotel deals announced to celebrate Saudi National Day

Dubai will celebrate Saudi National Day with a series of activities across the city from September 23-26. The city will host an extensive program of celebrations, including concerts and entertainment, retail promotions and hotel deals.

Dubai’s most famous landmarks will light up in the colors of the Saudi Arabian flag at 7 p.m. on September 23. These include Burj Al Arab, Ain Dubai and the Dubai Frame. The night sky will come alive with fireworks at The Beach at 9 p.m.

Some hotels and resorts offer seven-day stays for the price of five, among other things.

Sales and promotions

Major retail brands in Dubai malls will offer discounts ranging from 25-75% on fashion apparel, accessories, footwear, cosmetics, beauty and fragrances, optics, home furnishings for home and outdoor, electronics, pharmacies, as well as department stores and hypermarkets.

Shoppers can also enjoy 40% off selected items at Arabian Oud through September 30, while Jacky’s Electronics will be offering free gift vouchers up to Dh1,000 on all purchases from September 20-25 .

Shoppers can head to City Walk for special retail deals. Gourmands can take advantage of exclusive offers at La Mer.

There will be various offers at Bluewaters on September 23. The Outlet Village will celebrate the Saudi National Day with live music and surprise its visitors with free gifts on September 23.

Live entertainment

The Dubai Festival City Mall will host a special IMAGINE fountain show.

Arab music sensations Assala Nasri, Fouad Abdelwahed and Aseel Hameem will take center stage to honor Saudi Arabia’s National Day with an upbeat showcase featuring all of their hottest tracks on September 24 at the Coca-Cola Arena.

Visitors can watch traditional dances with Al Harbia and Al Ayyala groups while shopping at City Center Mirdif, City Walk, Nakheel Mall, Dubai Festival City Mall and Bluewaters on September 23 from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
