Disney Cruise and Resort Specials Announced for Disney+ Subscribers – How to Save

If you’re interested in anything Disney, streaming services, or both, you already know that last Thursday, September 8, was the second annual Disney+ Day.

On the other hand, if you’re not familiar with it, Disney+ Day “is a day dedicated to celebrating all that Disney’s streaming service has to offer,” Disney explains. Most notably, this is the day when new releases such as Thor: Love and Thunder and the live-action remake of Pinocchio began streaming on Disney+.

There’s more to Disney+ Day than the release of new Disney shows and movies, and a special discount for new subscribers, though.

“It’s Disney+ Day and we’re celebrating,” Thomas Smith, director of editorial content at Disney Parks, wrote in a blog post.

Indeed, Disney+ subscribers are now also eligible for special offers from Disney Cruise Line and Walt Disney World Resort.

Disney+ offer from Disney Cruise Line

“We’re thrilled to share an all-new Disney Cruise Line offer for Disney+ subscribers,” Smith said. “The third and fourth guests can sail for free with two full-fare guests in the same stateroom – up to two staterooms reserved by Disney+ subscribers.”

It’s important to note that the offer is only available on select sailings aboard Disney Magic, Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy cruise ships from January 2023 through April 2023. The offer, which is valid until March 1 2023, also only applies to certain cabin categories, Smith says.

Finally, if you are planning one of these cruises, you should also keep in mind that the offer excludes taxes, fees and port expenses which are usually around $89 to $202 per person depending on the price. selected route. These taxes, fees and port expenses for all passengers are due upon final payment.

And, of course, proof of Disney+ subscription is required to take advantage of the offer.

Additionally, when Guests stay at a Disney Deluxe or Deluxe Villa Resort, they will also be able to partake in extended evening hours — at select parks and on select nights, Smith notes. That even includes Disney’s Hollywood Studios on December 15 and 22.

As you’d expect, a valid admission, park reservation, and resort ID card are required for early admission and extended evening hours at theme parks.
